Israel says 8,000 Hamas gunmen killed in north Gaza as war completes 3 months
srael on Saturday (local time) said it completed the dismantlement of Hamas's "military framework" in northern Gaza, killing around 8,000 gunmen from the Palestinian group in the area as the war completed three months.
This development came as top diplomats from the US and European Union made separate visits to the region in an attempt to prevent the spillover of the Israel-Hamas war into neighbouring Lebanon and other countries in the Middle East.
Amid international pressure for a ceasefire and pushing humanitarian aid into Gaza, Israel Defence Forces (IDF) spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said similar operations were on to dismantle Hamas's network in the central and southern parts of Gaza
