- You must worship the goddess of knowledge, Goddess Saraswati, especially if you are a student, on this day to attract success in your studies.
- You should also prepare saffron pudding on this day and offer it to Goddess Saraswati and distribute it as Prasad amongst the devotees later.
- Apart from this, you should clean your books, worship them, and sing Bhajans in devotion to Maa Saraswati.
- The children should wake up during the Brahma Muhurat on this day and serve Goddess Saraswati as per the rituals.
- While worshipping Goddess Saraswati, prefer wearing yellow clothes, and offer only yellow clothes to Maa Saraswati too.

- You are advised to not let anything upset you or make you angry on this day. This is because anger can stand in the way of you receiving the virtuous results of worshipping Maa Saraswati.
- Also, you should not consume meat and alcohol on the day of Basant Panchami and stick to a Satvic diet.
