After that, it should get to the coast of Karnataka by June 6 or 7.
Bengal Monsoons
West Bengal is still experiencing Cyclone Remal's repercussions following yesterday's cyclonic storm. "Remal" caused significant disruption in several areas of the state, including Kolkata, by uprooting trees, toppling power poles, and leaving a path of devastation from rooftops to thatched homes.
Regarding the monsoon's expected arrival in the state, a Times of India report said that it is expected to hit West Bengal between June 10 and June 29.
Head of RMC Kolkata, HR Biswas told TOI, “The prediction so far is a normal onset of monsoon in both Kerala and Andaman. While there is no one-to-one relationship between the start date of Kerala and the date of South Bengal, generally we count 10 days between the two. We can predict its arrival only after it hits Kerala.
