Days after two climbers died on Mt Everest, a video has gone viral that shows 'traffic jam' near the summit of the world's highest mountain.
The video shows at least 20 climbers queuing up with little gap between them. The video is said to be from near the summit of Mt Everest and it has been claimed in posts sharing the video that these climbers are 'stuck' as they await their turn to climb to the summit.
"There's something about this that sums up so much of what's wrong with the world," said a user who shared the video on X (formerly Twitter).
Last week, two climbers died and three went missing on Mt Everest, according to CBS News.
In a separate video shared by a climber on Instagram, dozens of people could be seen on the way to the summit of Mt Everest. The timestamp of the video says it is from May 20. The video says it was shot while the person shooting it was descending.
