Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai was on Tuesday conceded from Coimbatore as counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections progressed.
According to the Election Commission data, Annamalai was trailing his Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) rival Ganapathy Rajkumar by 113446 votes at the time of writing of this news
39-year-old Annamalai, a former IPS officer of Karnataka cadre, joined the BJP in 2019 and became the president of party's Tamil Nadu unit in 2021.h
