The Indian Railways is all set to launch the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train on multiple routes, and one of the most awaited routes is New Delhi to Pune.
Route, Distance & Travel Time
The New Delhi–Pune Vande Bharat Sleeper train will cover a distance of 1,589 km. It will take approximately 20 hours to complete the journey, with a key stoppage at Agra Cantt.
Once operational, it will become the fastest train on this route, running at a speed of 160 kmph, as per ET Now.
Coach Details & Ticket Prices
The Vande Bharat Sleeper train will have a total of 16 coaches, offering different levels of comfort:
- 11 AC 3-Tier coaches – Approx fare: Rs 2,500
- 4 AC 2-Tier coaches – Approx fare: Rs 4,000
- 1 First Class AC coach – Approx fare: Rs 5,000
Timings & Schedule
From New Delhi:
- Departs at 4:30 PM, arrives in Pune at 1:00 AM (next day)
From Pune:
- Departs at 3:00 PM, arrives in Delhi at 11:30 AM (next day).
