Bollywood superstar Govinda paid a visit to Dharmendra at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. The veteran actor is admitted to the hospital due to age-related issues.
A paparazzi video of Govinda outside the hospital is going viral on social media. In the video, Govinda looked devastated and in tears as he is seen driving himself to the hospital.
However, Ameesha Patel was also spotted outside the hospital. The actress was visibly devastated and requested that the paparazzi not record her.
Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, along with his son Aryan Khan were among the celebrities who paid Dharmendra a visit at the hospital.
Earlier on Monday, Hema Malini, Esha Deol, Sunny Deol, Rajveer Deol, and Karan Deol were also seen arriving at the hospital to visit Dharmendra.
Reports and rumours about Dharmendra's health have been in the news for a few days. On November 1, the actor complained of dyspnea and was admitted to the hospital. When it was first announced that he had been admitted to the hospital, reports stated that he was allegedly on life support and that doctors had moved him to the intensive care unit. Several reports have also claimed that he has passed away.
However, Sunny Deol’s team has issued a statement, putting all the rumours to rest.
Sharing an update on Dharmendra’s health, the statement reads, “Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy."
However, Hema Malini has also assured fans that Dharmendra is stable.
“I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery," Hema Malini wrote in an Instagram post.
On the work front, Dharmendra was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), directed by Karan Johar, for which he received a great deal of praise for his heartfelt portrayal of Kanwal Lund opposite Shabana Azmi.
The veteran actor’s upcoming projects include Arbaaz Khan's Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se and Sriram Raghavan's war drama Ikkis.
