Hyderabad Weather: Parts of Hyderabad had a brief spell of rain on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the afternoon, providing much-needed respite to locals after days of intense heat. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an advisory at 2.20 PM, expecting moderate rain and thunderstorms till 4 PM in various districts, including Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Jogulamba Gadwal, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Narayanpet, and Nalgonda.
A chilly wind and a light rain encouraged many locals to leave their houses and places of work to take advantage of the abrupt weather change. Additionally, commuters were advised by the Hyderabad Traffic Police to drive carefully in light of the shifting conditions.
More unseasonal weather is expected in Telangana from April 15 to 17, with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds anticipated in some locations.
Rainfall Likely In North And East Hyderabad
According to forecasts, heavy rainfall is expected in the northern and eastern regions of Hyderabad. Areas such as Malkajgiri, OU, Boduppal, Nagole, LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, and Hayathnagar are likely to experience significant rainfall in the coming hours.
The forecast for the next 48 hours suggests partly cloudy skies over Hyderabad. In certain places, there is a probability of thundershowers or light rain in the evening or at night.
It is anticipated that the lowest temperature will be about 25°C and the highest will be about 38°C. Four to six kmph winds are predicted to blow from the southwest.
Brief rains may have an impact on evening traffic in certain areas of the city, so residents are encouraged to keep an eye on local weather conditions and adjust their travel plans appropriately.
