The National Sleep Foundation of Mexico has released an analysis on sleep needs according to different ages.

The study highlights the importance of balancing between too little and too much sleep for a healthy life.

For instance, the analysis details that people who fall asleep after midnight are 12% more at risk of cardiovascular diseases compared to those who sleep at 10 PM.

Go to bed between 10 PM and 11 PM

Therefore, experts recommend that adults should go to bed between 10 PM and 11 PM, and sleep between seven to nine hours, although they acknowledge maintaining such a schedule daily can be challenging due to individual needs and lifestyles.

The foundation also determined age ranges and recommended sleep hours for a healthy life:

0 to 3 months:

Recommended sleep hours are 14 to 17 hours, not less than 9 hours or more than 19 hours.

4 to 11 months:
