In early hours of Wednesday, India carried out multiple airstrikes targeting terror bases deep in Pakistani territories. Named Operation Sindoor, the attack is seen as the retaliatory action against the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
But unlike previous operations such as Balakot and Uri’s surgical strikes, Operation Sindoor shows a tough side of India like never before. As per the NDTV report, all nine locations that were targeted were under surveillance for a long time.

The precision strikes involved human sources, satellite imagery and intercepted the messages to locate the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed compounds.
The NDTV report added that terror infrastructure such as arms depot, training camps of indoctrination centres, sleeper cell planning hub were identified before the strikes. UAV surveillance was put to use to confirm the logistical movement.
Citing government sources, the NDTV report further added that in less than 60 minutes, all missiles had struck the targets identified prior to mission. All precision strikes were synchronised to maximise the surprise element. Real-time footage was also used to located the designated targets.
The fact that India decided to struck deep into Pakistani territories is a departure from earlier stance and shows tough side of the country and political leadership, the report citing sources added.
