An Instagram video of a young Australian girl being warmly welcomed by an Indian family during a picnic has gone viral for its heartwarming display of cultural hospitality.
The video was shared by Australian content creator Eva, who recorded the moment while travelling with her daughter Gaia.
"One minute we were walking past, next minute Gaia's having an Indian feast with new friends. Kids really do live their best life wherever they go," Eva said in the caption of her post.
The video shows Gaia happily sitting cross-legged on a picnic mat with a group of Indian women and children who appear delighted to include her in their family meal.
The text overlay on the video reads, "When your kid crashes an Indian family lunch like she's been invited."

Another commented, "You will always be welcome if it's an Indian family."
Many others also shared similar experiences of Indian hospitality: "So awesome. We have experienced the kindness of Indian families before. Our neighbours always bring stuff over on feast days and love it when I send them Christmas cookies."
Among the many responses, one summed up the sentiment with a well-known Indian phrase: "Atithi Devo Bhava = Guest is God."
