Bitcoin could dip to $32,000 post spot ETF approval

This scenario is called a “sell the news” event, which is common in capital markets, according to CryptoQuant. “Sell the news” refers to how the prices, leverage and sentiment of an asset increase before a positive event, but then drop soon after. This happens because smart traders take advantage of the crowded long trade, and force those who use leverage to exit or get liquidated as the price moves against them, CoinDesk reported. A spot ETF approval is seen as a positive event for Bitcoin, because it would attract more institutional investors, and create more demand for the cryptocurrency. NPCI to start deactivating these accounts from December 31 T he National Payments Corporation (NPCI) has directed payment apps to deactivate UPI IDs that have been inactive for more than a year as of December 31. This move is aimed at preventing unintended money transfers if customers change their mobile numbers without disassociating their old numbers from the banking system. TRAI’s directive on deactivated mobile numbers According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), telecom companies can issue deactivated mobile numbers to a new subscriber after 90 days. This could lead to unintentional transfers if the user does not update the mobile number associated with their bank account. As a result, Third Party App Providers (TPAP) and Payment Service Providers (PSP) are required to take action by December 31, 2023.
