Gold Prices Fall by ₹700 Amid Ukraine-Russia Peace Hopes, Safe-Haven Demand Still Strong

This decline, as reported by the All India Sarafa Association, was primarily driven by ongoing selling pressure from jewelers and stockists. This drop comes amidst growing hopes for a potential peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, as discussions between Ukrainian and US officials took place in Saudi Arabia on Sunday. These talks are aimed at resolving the ongoing three-year conflict, which has eased some of the geopolitical risks, contributing to the fall in gold prices. Why foreign investors are rushing back to bet on Dalal Street

Why foreign investors are rushing back to bet on Dalal Street Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) are making a strong comeback to buy domestic stocks on Dalal Street, reversing their months-long selling spree and fueling a sharp rally in the stock market. This has given a sharp boost to domestic investors, with the main indices extending gains for the sixth consecutive session.  Even the broad market indices that include smallcap and midcap segments continued to rally, providing a big boost to retail investors. But the bottom-line is foreign capital is returning to Dalal Street. THE RETURN OF FIIs After pulling out nearly Rs 2.4 lakh crore from Indian stock markets since late September, FIIs are now back in buying mode. Mutual fund NFO filings double in 2025 even as fund mop-up takes a hit

Mutual fund NFO filings double in 2025 even as fund mop-up takes a hit @Provided by Deepak kumar blogs Amidst the ongoing market fluctuations, mutual fund houses have doubled their draft filings with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in 2025 till date. A total of 64 new fund offerings (NFOs) documents have been filed so far this year, reflecting a significant year-on-year (YoY) increase from 32 filings in 2024. The surge has been led by a growing interest in index funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with 21 index funds and 15 ETFs filed this year up from 9 and 6 in 2024. Industry experts suggest that fund houses are capitalising on changing investor preferences amid volatility, as passive investment options like index funds and ETFs gain popularity. The increase in debt fund filings also suggests that fund managers are focusing on fixed-income products to provide stability during market uncertainty. This can be seen in the number of passive NFOs launched in th...

Technical View: Nifty near 7-week high, crossing 23,800 crucial for fresh upmove; Bank Nifty signals robust mood

Technical View: Nifty near 7-week high, crossing 23,800 crucial for fresh upmove; Bank Nifty signals robust mood The bulls seem to be unstoppable! The benchmark Nifty 50 reclaimed the 200-day EMA (23,400) in the opening trade itself and closed at a nearly seven-week high on March 24, continuing its upward rally for the sixth consecutive session. With a strong start to the week, the index has now climbed above all key moving averages (10, 20, 50, 100, and 200-day EMAs), with strong momentum in the indicators (RSI and MACD). The next hurdle is placed at 23,800 (the previous swing high). If the index manages to close decisively above this zone, it will not only negate the lower highs-lower lows formation but also strengthen the bulls for a further upward rally toward the psychological 24,000 mark, followed by 24,125 (the 50% Fibonacci retracement from 26,277 to 21,965). However, the 200-day EMA is now expected to act as support, according to experts. Traders should continue to ride ...

'Door To Hell': NASA Detects Mysterious Supermassive Black Hole In Neighboring Galaxy

'Door To Hell': NASA Detects Mysterious Supermassive Black Hole In Neighboring Galaxy NASA has announced groundbreaking evidence of a supermassive black hole at the heart of the elliptical galaxy M87. This colossal void, estimated to be 2.6 billion times the mass of the Sun, has reignited discussions about the fundamental forces shaping the universe. Captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope (HST), the discovery offers compelling insights into the mysterious gravitational forces governing celestial bodies. Dubbed by some as the “Door to Hell,” the black hole exerts an immense gravitational pull that distorts space and time. Located 52 million light-years from Earth in the Virgo constellation, M87 is one of the brightest galaxies in the local universe. With over 100 billion stars, it has long fascinated astronomers due to its enigmatic core and the presence of a gigantic jet of plasma being ejected from its nucleus.   US bombs Yemen Airport after Trump’s warning to ‘annihilate’ Houthi aggression The  United States  has intensified its military campaign in Yemen, carrying out a series of airstrikes on strategic locations. Warren Buffett says 'I don't care if my CEO has gone to school or not, business talent comes from nature'

Warren Buffett says 'I don't care if my CEO has gone to school or not, business talent comes from nature' Warren Buffett, Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has a simple hiring philosophy: academic credentials do not matter. In his 2025 annual letter to shareholders, he made it clear—he never considers where a CEO candidate studied. “One further point in our CEO selections: I never look at where a candidate has gone to school. Never!” he wrote. Buffett cited Pete Liegl, the late founder of Forest River, an RV manufacturer that Berkshire acquired in 2005. Liegl, who had an MBA from Western Michigan University, took the company to new heights. “During the next 19 years, Pete shot the lights out. No competitor came close to his performance,” Buffett noted. He also referenced Bill Gates, who left Harvard after three semesters to build Microsoft. “Look at my friend, Bill Gates, who decided that it was far more important to get underway in an exploding industry that would ...
